VBLS Lifeguard training provides applicants the ability to recognize, respond, and rescue drowning victims, perform CPR or reunite a lost child with their family from day one if required. The training is comprehensive led by experienced first responders following USLA standards and nationally certified First Aid and CPR programs. Trainees spend time with veteran guards on the stand before assignment to their own allowing trainees to ask questions in the heat of action. All of the training is provided free of charge minimizing out of pocket costs for applicants.
